Alvida

So what if I want to indulge in the pleasures that my land has to offer

One last time

Before setting out on my journey?

No one can stop me

From tasting heaven on the lips of that onyx-eyed beauty

Who I’ll never see again

Amidst sweet-smelling flowers

With their lascivious pink petals

Upon which dew drops glisten

As on the greenery around us

Pass some token of your love into my hand

So that I may take it with me

Beyond the waterfall

And remember that you were not a dream
