Your Eyes

I gaze into your eyes longingly,
With the greatest love I've ever felt,
You make feel as though I will melt,
Though your eyes have the gentlest beauty

Like a delicate, rare, and exotic flower,
Even with the rest of your face covered,
You manage to deprive me of my power

Sometimes I think your eyes are full of love for me,
But perhaps I only imagine this to be,
For I know them to be deceptively lovely

They may reflect the kindness of your soul,
They may show that your heart is pure,
But there is no way to tell for sure
